Join us in celebrating Juneteenth with a screening of "Miss Juneteenth." The film tells the story of a former beauty queen and single mother who prepares her headstrong teenage daughter for the "Miss Juneteenth" pageant. The movie has a runtime of 102 minutes and is not rated.

Finish out the summer at Rahway Public Library as we screen Summer of Soul, Rated PG-13. This music documentary explores and reclaims the legacy of the six-week 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. It features unpublished footage of performances by Nina Simone, B.B. King, Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight & the Pips at Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park).
