ILOVE2READ Aloud - Socially Aware Series: Recovery Feels Like HOPE
Teens! Celebrate a new school year and use your creativity to make something fun in our Dixcovery Studio! We will have an assortment of craft supplies available for you to make your magic! For teens 13-17.
Find and discover amazing books, movies, music, comics, and lots more with the library app! During this session, we will cover how to get our free apps and instructions how to use them. If you would like help adding these apps to an Apple or Android device, please be sure your device is charged and you know the password.
Finish out the summer at Rahway Public Library as we screen Summer of Soul, Rated PG-13. This music documentary explores and reclaims the legacy of the six-week 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. It features unpublished footage of performances by Nina Simone, B.B. King, Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight & the Pips at Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park).
Join us in our Discovery Studio at 6:00pm. Bring your hooks and yarn. Work on a project or learn a new technique! No registration required. Program is free for Adults & Teens 13+ Want to get started before our club meets? Our beginner classes are available online! Beginner Crochet Classes

Come out and enjoy some board games at the library! Have some fun and meet some new people. Play an old favorite or something new. This week we are going to start off playing Scrabble! Players of all skill levels are welcome. The library has a variety of games to play or bring one of your own.
Join us in the library auditorium Saturday, October 5 at 2 pm for an afternoon of trivia hosted by Danny Vargas. You may register your teams by contacting the reference desk though it is not required. For adults 18 and over. Grand Prize is a gift certificate to the world famous Waiting Room. Available only from within the library.
Documenting almost 160 years of Rahway's past, the online newspaper archive is an excellent resource for local history, obituaries, and for learning about the events that made Rahway the city it is today.
While the Rahway Public Library has reopened to the public, curbside pickup is still available. If you are interested in using this service, please put your books on hold through our online catalog. Once we have notified you that your books are available, come to the library and give us a call when you arrive. We will meet you on the loading dock underneath the building.
